Printing your cards
Each card is an A6 PDF (148 × 105 mm), printed on both sides and then folded in half down the middle (74 × 105 mm once folded). On thin paper it wears out quickly: here is how to make it a sturdy object that lasts the whole year. For printing, the light version is the safest choice: its white edges leave no stray line when the card is trimmed.

At a print shop
The nicest result. Hand over the PDF as it is and ask for: A6, double-sided (back flipped on the vertical axis, like a book page), 350 gsm silk-coated card, no lamination, and a centre score. Ask for a test copy before the full run.

At home
Print at “actual size” (100%, never “fit to page”), on heavy paper of 200 gsm or more if your printer accepts it. Home double-sided printing often misaligns: print the outside and the inside on two sheets instead, cut them out, and glue them back to back, lining up the middles.

Folding it
Score it before folding: lay a ruler along the middle (74 mm from the edge) and run an empty ballpoint pen or the back of a knife along it. The card then folds cleanly without cracking. No lamination: it is written on in pen and stamped on both sides.
