Methodology
A demanding pedagogy, built to last
This methodology's ambition is to enable memorizing the last quarter of the Qur'an by heart — from "Sabbih" to "Yâsîn" included — while respecting the rules of Tajweed, all the while giving the student full independence to continue learning.
It is based on a goal-oriented pedagogy and rests on three requirements, carried by three roles: the student, the parents and the teacher.
Goal-based learning
Setting a goal at the start of the year is important for effectiveness. Throughout the year, everyone involved should always know "where they are heading" and "where they stand". Learning happens through short goals to reach at home; recitation and validation happen in class, with the teacher. Step by step, progress accumulates, and consolidation happens in class.
Shared responsibility
Everyone involved carries responsibility: the teacher sets the goals, guides the student, tracks progress and validates achievements; the student works towards the goals to reach; the parents, in collaboration with the teacher, help the student reach their goals and provide daily follow-up at home. Parents play a major role — the student's success largely depends on them.
Tracking
Since learning mostly happens at home, tracking by parents is central. They take part directly and personally in the project's success and directly contribute to the student's achievements.
